Daniel Daly was selected as TSA’s Director for the Information Assurance and Cybersecurity Division. In this role, Dan is responsible for overseeing all aspects of TSA’s cybersecurity and risk management functions within the Office of Information Technology. This includes running the day to day operations of the Division whose scope encompasses everything from cybersecurity policy to intrusion detection and response for the TSA enterprise.
Dan started his career as a Communications Officer in the US Marine Corps in 2004, leveraging technology in various environments. While on active duty, he served with several units including the 9th Communication Battalion as a Radio Platoon Commander, Wide Area Network/Information Assurance Platoon Commander, and the assistant Operations Officer. He also served as the Joint Task Force Enabler Officer in Charge on the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit for the Western Pacific deployment 08-02. Following these assignments, Dan was stationed at the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center serving as a Watch Officer and the Operations Officer for Defensive Cyberspace Operations Section. During this time, he was also challenged with engaging numerous threat actors ranging from Nation-States to hacktivists.
After a decade in the military, Dan moved into the civil service, taking a position as the lead for the Discovery and Counter-Infiltration team at the Marine Corps Cyberspace Operations Group. In 2016, Dan transitioned to the TSA, taking the role of the Focused Operations Branch Manager, running TSA’s digital forensics, malware analysis, and Advanced Network Operations teams. While assigned to this role, Dan also laid the foundation for the creation of TSA’s threat hunting and threat emulation capabilities.
Dan is also the co-owner of Spectrum Autism Services, an applied behavior analysis company where he and his wife follow their passion for helping children on the autism spectrum. In addition to numerous cybersecurity certifications, Dan holds a Bachelors in Political Science, Masters in Cybersecurity, and a Masters in Business Administration.

Timothy Goodwin is the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). He is responsible for the agency’s cybersecurity posture, including governance, compliance, and proactive strategies for the mission. His team manages network security, cybersecurity policies, assessments, vulnerabilities, and risk management for all IT systems.
An accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience, Mr. Goodwin has delivered cybersecurity systems and led successful digital transformations in complex organizations. His experience leveraging emerging technologies, nurturing innovative cultures, and driving change will be invaluable in the work to safeguard the agency’s critical information and infrastructure. Goodwin served as Interim Chief Data Officer and Deputy Director for the Office of Organizational Policy and Governance in the Office of the Chief Information Officer prior to becoming the CISO for the Agency.
Prior to joining the USPTO, Goodwin served in the FBI for 14 years. As a subject matter expert in its Operational Technology Division, he led the development, acquisition and delivery of cyber capabilities to support electronic surveillance requirements. Goodwin’s leadership was instrumental in strengthening the FBI’s cybersecurity posture. With a record of managing high-performing teams delivering cybersecurity products and services, Mr. Goodwin readily tackles challenges at a pace being CISO demands. His and his cybersecurity teams support the agency’s mission to foster innovation and protect intellectual property rights.
Goodwin graduated from Strayer University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Networking and a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems.

Beverly Walker serves as the Chief Privacy Officer at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), where she leads the CDC Privacy Unit. In this role, she is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive privacy policies for all data collected from employees, partners, stakeholders, and the public, ensuring compliance with applicable federal and international laws and regulations. Beverly plays a key role in communicating the organization’s privacy strategy and policies to CDC employees and stakeholders, as well as advising agency leaders on privacy considerations and data collection practices to support informed decision-making.
Beverly joined the CDC in March 2011, becoming the agency's inaugural Chief Privacy Officer. Her extensive career includes leadership positions in privacy at various federal and quasi-governmental agencies in Washington, DC, including Amtrak, the Department of Labor, the Bureau of Land Management within the Department of the Interior, and the Department of Agriculture.
She earned her undergraduate degree from Furman University and holds graduate degrees from the University of South Carolina School of Law and The Catholic University of America. Beverly is certified by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in Government Information and Privacy Management and was designated a Fellow of Information Privacy (FIP) by the IAPP in 2023.

Clark Dudley is a cyber security professional with nearly two decades of experience in the industry. During this time, Clark has built high-performing cyber security teams that focused on achieving cyber defensive mission objectives, as well as educating clients on the latest industry trends.
In his current role, Clark oversees the business aligned to defense and intelligence. Prior to joining CrowdStrike, Mr. Dudley has held various managerial, consultative and sales roles in several Fortune 500 companies, where his primary focus was contributing to and defending customers’ cyber security mission objectives. Clark’s in-depth understanding of the complex cyber security landscape, specific to the Federal Government sector, has enabled him to provide secure, cost-effective and efficient solutions to tackle the most challenging business, regulatory and technical requirements.
Clark’s extensive background of product and services have been acknowledged by several organizations and industry professionals. Mr. Dudley currently sits on the AFCEA DC Board of Directors and a proud graduate of the Virginia Military Institute. He currently resides in Northern Virginia with his wife and two sons.

As President for Insights and Research for the GovExec Media Group, Aaron brings together various research and information sources across the organization including international aerospace and defense trends with Forecast International and Military Periscope and branding, marketing and sales strategy insights from Market Connections and the Government Business Council to help clients get the information they need to make good business decisions.
Prior to its acquisition by GovExec, Aaron was President of Market Connections, a market research company providing qualitative and quantitative research services and strategy advice to the government contracting community. He is a regular speaker on topics of federal, state and local government business trends as well as marketing and communication strategies and prides himself in working collaboratively to develop product, marketing and program plans based on sound information.
Prior to joining Market Connections, Aaron worked with The NPD Group, Inc. (now Circana) integrating syndicated consumer data with federal, state and local government agencies. He founded some of the first public/private partnerships with the U.S. Department of Commerce and Bureau of Labor Statistics to improve economic indicators and data gathering practices. As Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Research for Harris Interactive he facilitated a multi-continent strategic planning process for the US Department of State, ran product trials for the Open Mobile Video Coalition and facilitated focus groups with first Americans in Alaska and South Dakota.
He has his masters degree in public policy (MPP) from Georgetown University and a BA in leadership studies and economics from the University of Richmond in Virginia.
