Frank Indiviglio became NOAA’s Chief Technology Officer in April of 2022. In this role, Frank leads the development of technology and innovation programs across NOAA. Frank also leads research and evaluation of emerging technologies to strengthen NOAA’s ability to accelerate its ability to conduct its mission through technology.  

Before becoming the CTO, Frank was the Deputy Director of the High Performance Computing and Communications Program at NOAA. He has also held roles at NOAA’s Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Laboratory, Columbia and Cornell Universities, and within industry at HPTi and Silicon Graphics.

Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems from Drexel University.

Alexandra Kelley reports on emerging technology for Nextgov/FCW. Her most recent post was covering breaking news for The Hill where she focused on a variety of quantitative subjects, including Big Tech and the economy, in addition to covering the coronavirus pandemic since late 2019. She graduated from Kenyon College in 2017.

Patty Delafuente is a Sr Data Scientist for the Solution Architecture team at NVIDIA supporting the Public Sector.   She is an AI Enthusiast with over 20 years of experience in Data Engineering and Analytics. Over the past several years she has focused on Data Science and AI with RAPIDS, Edge AI, NeMo, and Computer Vision. She is a certified Deep Learning Institute Instructor in several workshops.  She holds a Master of Science in Analytics and is currently pursuing her PhD in Computer Science at UMBC. She is part of the Adjunct Faculty at UMBC and teaches an Applied AI course for the Graduate Data Science Program.
