American Rescue Plan Act Grant Program

The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) was passed in March 2021 to accelerate the country’s recovery from the COVID-19 emergency and its negative economic impacts. As part of this legislation, states, local governments, tribal governments, schools, colleges, and hospitals received stimulus funding to rebound from the pandemic.

State and Local Cybersecurity Grant Program

The Department of Homeland Security will award $1 billion over four years to states and tribal governments to address cybersecurity risks to information systems owned or operated by, or on behalf of, state, local, or tribal governments. The application period for states and tribes is expected to open in Summer 2022.
