Nick Marinos is a Managing Director in GAO’s Information Technology and Cybersecurity team. He oversees work on federal IT practices, including IT management, acquisitions, and operations; privacy and sensitive data, and cybersecurity.
Nick joined GAO in 2002. He has led major reviews of efforts by the executive branch to implement the National Cyber Strategy; data protection practices at the Department of Homeland Security, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Federal Student Aid office, and key financial regulatory agencies;the Census Bureau’s efforts to implement and protect IT systems critical to the 2020 Census; and the cybersecurity of critical infrastructure.
Nick earned an MBA in information systems and technology and a bachelor’s degree in business information technology, both from Virginia Tech. He serves on the Virginia Tech BIT advisory board at the Pamplin College of Business. Nick is a certified information privacy professional.

Nancy Rainosek is the Chief Information Security Officer for the State of Texas at the Department of Information Resources. She has over 35 years of IT experience in Texas state government and private sector consulting. Prior to joining DIR, she served as the deputy Chief Information Security Officer and the Enterprise Security Operations Manager for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission. She was an IT Audit Manager and Information Resource Manager at the Texas State Auditor’s Office.
Nancy has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems from Texas State University.

Christopher Painter is a globally recognized leader on cyber policy, cyber diplomacy, cybersecurity and combatting cybercrime.
He has been at the vanguard of cyber issues for over 27 years, first as a federal prosecutor handling some of the most high-profile cyber cases in the U.S., then as a senior official at the U.S. Department of Justice, the FBI, the White House National Security Council and, finally, as the world’s first cyber diplomat at the U.S. Department of State.

Larry Frazier is Director of Sales Strategy at Iron Bow Technologies where he leads the development and execution of programmatic business that drives the advancement, engagement, and efficacy of the organization’s global sales practice.
Previously he served as the Senior Director of Strategy & Plans for Cisco’s Workforce Experience and Chief of Staff for the Office of the Chief Digital Officer. Before that he was the Director for System Engineering-Business Architectures Group-for Cisco’s US Federal Sales. In that role, Larry worked across the Federal Area of Operations on enterprise IT offerings to ensure customers were optimized not only with their Cisco investment, but in specific areas of change and modernization. In this capacity, Larry served as an advisor and trusted agent to the U.S. Federal Senior Systems Engineering Director and Area Vice President for Federal with an extended team in sales, engineering, business development, and consulting services to ensure our customers are able to focus on their top initiatives. Larry also led a team of high performers that integrate and create highly developed Transformational Road Maps for Cisco’s data center, security, mobility, and collaboration capabilities for the various Account Teams across U.S. Federal.
On top of his many accomplishments, Larry is a retired United States Army Veteran with over 21 years of Military Service. His last military assignment encompassed serving as the Executive Officer and Technical Advisor for the Defense Information System Agency (DISA) Services Executive. There, he worked to align value provided by the DoDIN with multiple program offices within DISA as well as the DoD CIO with cybersecurity requirements to all DISA-servicing customers, including the US Army, Navy, Marine Corp, Air Force, and Space Force.
Larry holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree from the University of Texas A&M in System Engineering and a Graduates Degree from Webster University in Information Technology Management.

Meghan leads the Cyber Accelerator for Leidos to build, integrate, and enhance cyber technologies. She focuses on designing and delivering innovative solutions for cyberspace operations and cybersecurity across our defense, civilian, health, and intelligence customers. She is a Leidos Technical Fellow with impactful contributions in cyber operations, threat analytics, and data visualization. Beyond her cyber efforts, Meghan is co-host of the Leidos MindSET podcast, exploring the technical perspectives of our colleagues to make the world safer, healthier, and more efficient through IT, engineering, and science.

Bill Brennan leads a multifunctional team of cyber security experts responsible for cyber governance, risk and compliance (GRC) as well as disaster recovery, cyber education/workforce management, and enterprise risk management. He is the primary responsible executive for industry collaboration as well as cross-corporate evangelism for cyber security transformation.
Prior to this position Mr. Brennan was the Senior Director, Cyber Enablement at Leidos responsible for managing risk and securely enabling the business, ensuring compliance and transforming the cyber workforce. Additionally Mr. Brennan has held business leadership roles at Lockheed Martin (LM) running a global cyber security practice as well as Managing Director for IS&GS Canada and IS&GS Middle East. In these roles Mr. Brennan was responsible for the technical and business leadership of multiple multi-national organizations with annual revenue over $20M. In total Mr. Brennan has almost 20 years experience in cyber security and senior business leadership.
Mr. Brennan is a thought leader in cyber security writing multiple articles covering current technology/threat trends as well strategic perspectives on the development of a cyber workforce. He has presented at world renowned cyber security conferences and national events around the world.
Mr. Brennan holds a Masters Degree in Management from Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelors Degree from James Madison University (JMU). Mr. Brennan is also a member of the JMU College of Business Executive Advisory Board and coaches multiple youth sports. He and his wife Mary live in Loudoun County Virginia, USA with their two sons.

George Jackson

George Jackson is director of events at GovExec – the largest and most-influential media
company in the public sector marketplace. He joined the company in 2020 to enhance the scale
of their events and audience experiences. In 2021, George launched GovExec TV (streaming
video content) and received the company’s Entrepreneurial Spirit Award, part of their first-
annual Icon Awards.
George graduated from The Ohio State University in 2003 with a bachelor’s degree in English.
In 2006, he earned his master’s in broadcast journalism from the University of Maryland,
College Park.
George spent the first five years of his journalism career at WJHL-TV in Johnson City Tenn. –
beginning as an overnight producer for the station’s 6 a.m. broadcast. He advanced to lead on-air
reporter for WJHL’s 11 p.m. newscast.
As a reporter, George examined the earnings of two non-profit hospital systems, felony charges
filed against a local sheriff, predatory paving companies, a health benefits backlog for local
veterans, and a series of cold-case murder investigations. He received an honorable mention for
Best TV Reporter in the 2011 Tennessee AP Broadcast awards and won a Best Investigative
Reporting award from Media General in 2010.
George joined DC’s ABC affiliate WJLA-TV in 2012 to produce Capital Insider, which won
him an Emmy award. One year later, he developed and recorded the pilot episode of Government
Matters – a program about the business of government. It debuted as a weekly show on Sunday,
August 4 th of 2013. George led Government Matters through September of 2020, expanded its
reach to a daily worldwide audience, and produced its first feature-length documentary The
Dawn of Generation AI.
George is from Toledo, Ohio. He lives with his wife, twin daughters, and a pair of rescue dogs in
Northern Virginia.
