In January 2021, Chris DeRusha was appointed as the Federal Chief Information Security Officer in the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), Office of the Federal Chief Information Officer (OFCIO). Before coming back to federal government, DeRusha served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the Biden for President campaign. Prior to joining the campaign in June 2020, he served as the Chief Security Officer for the State of Michigan. DeRusha has extensive experience managing cybersecurity and critical infrastructure programs and operations both in the public and private sectors. DeRusha led Ford Motor Company's Enterprise Vulnerability Management program and has over eight years of Federal Government experience working
both at the Office of Management and Budget and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He holds a Master’s in Security Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor’s in Business
Administration from James Madison University.

Steven Hernandez is an information assurance senior executive serving the past twenty years in a variety of contexts and missions. His rich background includes law enforcement, financial, education, healthcare, credentialing, heavy manufacturing, non-profits, and governments at the federal, state, and local levels. Steven’s experience ranges from the board room to leading tactical, day-to-day security operations as well as championing broad IT and security initiatives such as the US government's Zero Trust Architecture approach. Presently, he is the Chief Information Security Officer and Director of Information Assurance Services at the U.S. Department of Education. Steven also serves as the co-chair of the US Government Federal CISO Council and Government Chair of the ACT-IAC Cybersecurity Community of Interest. Prior to his position at Education, he held a variety of roles at the Office of Inspector General, US Department of Health and Human Services including CTO, CIO, CISO, Senior Official for Privacy and Chief Services Engineering Officer. He is an inaugural member of the United States Scholarship of Service Hall of Fame and an ardent supporter of the next generation of cybersecurity professionals. His passions include teaching cybersecurity as an Honorary Professor, Affiliate Faculty, and guest lecturer at over a dozen Institutions of higher education.

Grant Dasher is the Architecture Branch Chief of the Office of the Technical Director. Previously, he was the Principal Engineer and Chief Architect for Identity and Access Management infrastructure in Google Cloud. He has a proven track record of delivering multiple critical platform security capabilities in GCP to mitigate security and data ex-filtration risks and enable adoption of the platform in multiple critical markets such as Financial Services, Government, and Health Care. He worked in the Obama Administration primarily focused on modernizing immigration benefit processing at the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency.
Mr. Dasher has a deep experience and expertise both on the technical implementation of cloud and hybrid cloud enterprise systems as well as security and compliance requirements of cloud adoption in the enterprise, both from his work at the White House & DHS as well as his time at Google..

Chris Jensen is the Public Sector Business Development Executive at Tenable, where he develops and supports strategic cybersecurity initiatives and programs in federal, state, and local markets. Prior to joining Tenable in 2017, Chris served in a broad range of leadership roles in Public Sector IT contracting, including business operations, contract and program management, business development and capture. Chris began his professional career as an officer in the U.S. Navy. After leaving active service, he continued to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserve until his retirement in 2008. A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Chris also holds a J.D. from The George Washington University Law School.

Cameron Chehreh is Vice President, Sales and Marketing Group & General Manager of the Public Sector team. In the GM role, Cameron will lead our go-to-market efforts across our US Public Sector business. This includes US Federal civilian agencies, the Department of Defense & Intelligence community, defense contractors, and additional customers and partners. Cameron will also lead our SLG and newly formed Defense and Intelligence Base sales team within our US Public Sector organization.
Cameron is an industry veteran who humbly started his 25-year career implementing technology in a variety of companies ranging from start-ups to fortune 10 organizations. He has held a variety of senior leadership roles within these organizations with an ethos of “mission first” which drives the success of the teams he has led. He views leadership as a privilege and sees himself as a servant leader focused on people and the success of the team. Cameron’s experience spans every facet of the industry from helping build the world’s first cloud computing company, USinternetworking in Annapolis, Maryland. He has also previously held roles with General Dynamics IT.
Cameron is a public speaker on information technology topics, including digital transformation, cloud computing, cyber security, service-oriented architecture, data center consolidation and optimization, and business topics covering strategic outsourcing, IT to business alignment, government markets, business strategy and operations, and organizational change.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Engineering and Mass Communications from Middle Tennessee State University. A former professional musician and trained audio engineer, Cameron loves music and spending time with his family. He lives outside of Annapolis, Maryland with his wife Christine and daughters Camryn and Chelsea.

La Monte Yarborough is the Chief Information Security Officer (CIS0) for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). La Monte joined HHS' Office of the Inspector General (OIG) in January 2020 as its CISO, where he immediately instituted changes to fortify security outcomes. He worked for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and held several leadership roles in cybersecurity, including serving as the CISO for the DHS Headquarters (HQ) IT organization and at the Federal Emergency Management Agency. He stood up the DHS HQ information security organization from the ground up. Before his work at DHS, La Monte was a contractor providing cybersecurity service to DHS HQ and served over 20 years in the U.S. Army, specializing in information technology and cybersecurity. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Arts from Excelsior College, a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Webster University, a Master of Science in Information Assurance from Strayer University, and a Master's certificate in IT Project Management from George Washington University. Kenneth W. Bible serves as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the DHS Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). In this role, he is responsible for all matters relating to information and securing and strengthening the Department’s information security program and information technology (IT) posture.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Bible served under the Headquarters Marine Corps Deputy Commandant for Information (DCI) as the Assistant Director for the Information Command, Control, Communications, and Computers Division (IC4). In this capacity, he also served as the Marine Corps’ Deputy Chief Information Officer and CISO, formulating and providing broad policy guidance for IT, cybersecurity, and communications infrastructure and applications. Among his many accomplishments, he delivered ADVANA, the U.S Department of Defense’s single authoritative source for audit and business data analytics, and led Risk Management Framework reform across the Marine Corps by guiding production of the first fully accredited secure software development (DevSecOps) pipelines.
Previously, Mr. Bible served with the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR) for almost two decades, starting as a lead engineer integrating commercial Geospatial Information Systems technology, then heading the Networks Engineering Division of the SPAWAR Systems Center Atlantic. He later became the Assistant Program Executive Officer (Engineering) for PEO Enterprise Information Systems, serving as the PEO’s chief engineer as assigned by SPAWAR headquarters.
As chief engineer for the Fleet Environmental Information Management System/Protective Measures Assessment Protocol program, he was awarded the Chief of Naval Operations and Secretary of the Navy Environmental Team Award in 2008. He was awarded the Department of the Navy Meritorious Civilian Service medal in 2020.
Mr. Bible began his civilian service in 1985 at the former Charleston Naval Shipyard, where he rose to be a nuclear qualified engineering supervisor for three engineering branches. He was appointed to executive service as a Senior Leader in 2013, and to the Senior Executive Service in March 2015. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and earned a master’s degree in engineering from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Bible is a member of the Department of Defense Acquisition Community Professional Corps; a Level III certified acquisition professional in the Advanced Systems Planning, Research, Development, and Engineering career field; and a licensed professional engineer. He is a native of Roanoke, Virginia.
